Benevilla will host a free, live webinar on Parkinson’s disease from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday.
“Parkinson’s: Demystifying Hallucinations, Night Terrors and Dementia,” will be hosted in conjunction with the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation and made possible with a grant from TEVA Neurosciences.
The webinar will be broadcast live and is for those with Parkinson’s, caregivers, and allied health professionals.
The web event will include Dr. Virgilio Evidente from the Arizona Movement Disorder Clinic and Dr. Rohit Dhall from the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute.
The presentation will be followed by a Q&A for both in-person and web audience members.
“We’re really excited to have this opportunity to speak on this important topic with people around the globe,” said Regina Thibideau, intake specialist at Benevilla. “There are so many misunderstood aspects of Parkinson’s, and this will give our audience a set of tools to use in dealing with the disease.”
Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church, 13658 W. Meeker Blvd, Sun City West, will be host to those who wish to participate in person. Refreshments will be served after the webinar concludes.
Those wishing to participate via the Internet may register for the event at http://event.netbriefings.com/event/benevilla/Live/demystify.
The presentation will remain available online for those who cannot participate in the live event.
